On Monday a friend and I drove to LA via scenic ocean drive Highway 1 during the sun rising. The drive itself was phenomenal. We made the easy 1.5 hr commute to receive darshan (blessing) from Amma, known as the hugging saint. She has inspired millions around the world with her humanitarian efforts, compassion as the only way to peace, education training and development, healthcare through schools of ayurveda and research centers funded by her non profit, and humanitarian aid world wide.

What struck me about her is that she acts on the spontaneous and instinctive. She cuts our the bureaucrazy (my intended typo), generates speed and momentum and quickly goes to those in need to serve and give quality support. Her work is a model which large and small organizations can learn from.
